DC Comics vs Sufjan Stevens

According to Asthmatic Kitty, the Illinois LP is delayed:
Unfortunately we've had to stop selling Illinois due to an legal issue concerning the artwork. We'll post info here on the site when we're reasonably certain about the situation.

Illinois is the second installment in the songwriter Sufjan Stevens's 50 states project. Sufjan plans to record an album after each state in the union.

In the recent EW, Stevens told Leah Greenblatt "No one ever really finishes what they start. Think of all the failed marriages and the abandoned children, the novels left unfinished. I don't really think it's about the product anyway, I think it's about the adventure and the process, don't you?"

Sufjan recently recorded "The Lord God Bird" for NPR and will be available for download on their site on tomorrow. Tune in to NPR on Wednesday at 4:36pm and 6:36pm for this segment.
