Big Post Thursday
So many things to talk about in one post. It might be our longest one yet. First up, our contests page has been update with a list of winners for the Nirvana & Louis XIV Giveaways. Congrats to those who won. We'll have two new contests tomorrow so stay tuned.
Next we have The White Stripes. It's incredible that we haven't had coverage on them until now. Insound.com is having a special promotion when you pre-order Get Behind Me Satan. Use the coupon code: orchid15 when checking out (expires on 06.07.05) and the first 100 orders will receive a free White Stripes 7-inch. Pre-order the album here. We just received word that Nikeid's Time Square billboard will have it's last day tomorrow. Nike is hosting a NIKE FREE FOR ALL from 1pm - 5pm where every Nike Free Shoe (Free is the name of a particular shoe style) created at Times Square will be free to the consumer who custom designs it.
As it has been done throughout the campaign, consumers dial the number noted on the board and are prompted to create their shoe. Five people can be waiting on hold (before a busy sign is received). Then once the consumer designs their FREE kick, they will receive a text message to their cell phone - the same as what's been done before but this time with a single use comp code where they can place their Nike FREE shoe order. You will have to be in Time Square to be able to participate. View the image of the billboard.
