The Dresden Dolls & Dressy Bessy
The Dresden Dolls are Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione hailing from Boston. They make great music like this and this. Their videos are also great. On Sunday June 5th 2005 they are to film their first DVD slated to be released in the fall of 2005. They will be filming at the Paradise starting at 6:30pm in Boston.
"we are pulling out all stops for this show, inviting all brigaders past and present, setting up weird artwork galore, and generally making a huge disturbance whose sound will ricochet through the audiovisual universe for decades, nay centuries, to come.
Tickets are FREE to this event but you will need to be on a list in order to get in. You can order up to 4 tickets to the show under your name. In order to be on the list for this show, please email info@baselineticketing.com.
In the email you MUST include your FULL name as it appears on a photo ID and the exact number of tickets you want (between 1-4). The Subject Line of your email should be “The Dresden Dolls DVD shoot”. Once we get your email you will receive email confirmation back, so make sure to check your email. There are a limited number of tickets available, and once the list fills up they are gone - so send your email today. PLEASE NOTE: If you order 4 tickets please have your entire party present. Please show respect for each other and only order as many tickets as you need in order to make sure all fans get a chance to see the show. If your entire party is not present, you will not be admitted. Thanks.
everyone attending the DVD shoot is encouraged to dress wildly, be a freak, writhe uncontrollably and love one another publicly, but you must also be willing to sign a release at the front door when you enter the club. if you are not ok with being filmed for posterity, don't come. Also, NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY and NO CELL PHONES. Both of these will interfere with the filming thanks for your cooperation. this night will be historic. we'll see you there"

Dressy Bessy will release their highly anticipated new album, Electrified, on June 14, 2005 through Transdreamer Records. Denver's finest will play a special CD release show on June 17 at The Gothic in Denver.
