Doves @ Webster Hall
We arrived at Webster Hall a little after 9PM only to find out that Mercury Rev has already played their set. That was a major disappointment since we've been anxious to check out their live show. A few minutes later Doves takes the stage. If you haven't been to a Webster Hall show, we recommend you go there in the winter time then you wouldn't mind the extreme heat that Webster Hall generates. Having never seen a Doves show, we didn't know what to expect. They have a pretty good fan base. Overall, they sounded great but should stray from performing very slow songs. They don't have that stage presence to pull it off. Since our memory was the size of a pea last night. We can only recall some of these songs below being played.
Pounding
The Cedar Room
Black and White Town
Snowden
Caught By The River
Satellites
There Goes The Fear
