Elliott Smith
This morning, while going about my morning rituals, I had my browser open on Craigslist from last night. Someone posted that Elliot Smith committed suicide yesterday. So I search and found articles on NME and Guardian UK. Radio stations and various websites all over are reporting that he committed suicide. I then go to his fan site at Sweet Adeline and was greeted with 'goodbye elliott'. His official site is slow to load and it then crashes.
We could scratch our heads and ask why but what ever the end reasons may have been the bottom line is that Elliott Smith chose to end his life. Although it is very sad, he lives on through his great body of work in the music world.
