i've been a little unwell
The weather has finally caught up with me. I got sick on Sunday morning - coughing, sneezing, fever...the usual. I did not want to wake up this morning to go to work but I'm here. I feel so weak. If I don't have something to munch on every 30-45 minutes I might pass out. Ugh. Here's an update of what I've been doing in the past three weeks.
- I saw Stiffed for the nth time during the Afro-Punkscreening on Sept. 4th. They still didn't play 'He Looks Good' even though Santi White assured me that they've been playing it for the past shows which I missed two months prior.
- Running around in and out of NY
- Heard the new Outkast album - I like it!
- Had a random Martina Navratilova sighting by Madison Square Garden
- Spent too many hours dancing at Tribe.
- Watched Wet Hot American Summer, Purple Rain & The Goonies
- Went to the 'Sup Magazine party last Saturday only to leave a few minutes later to keep a few commitments to some Irish lads.
- Witnessed a poor fellow lying down with his head gashed open next to the Sidewalk Cafe at 4:30 am
With October comes the CMJ Music Marathon. So many bands to see so little time & money. I might be starting school on Oct. 31st (WHY!!!) which will be denying me of attending the loads of Halloween parties that will be taking place that Friday. Bah humbug! *sniffles*
