Believe The Hype
Well well well...Arnold Schwarzenegger actually won. I wonder who next will run for governor after him. How about Harrison Ford? He was Han Solo after all. That's all the qualification he will need.?
In music news, I am anticipating the release of Billy Bragg's Best of compilation, Must I Paint You a Picture?. It's being released in the US on Oct. 28th on Rhino Records. Luna fans should be aware of L'avventura. Pitchfork list the Top 50 Most Common Used CDs.?
I'm one of the many who will be seeing Kill Bill this weekend. Uma Thurman brandishing a sword and kicking major ass is something to look forward to. In this NY Times article, Tarantino Talks about Kill Bill's wincing factor. I'm taking precautionary steps not to eat or drink anything before watching the movie so the person sitting next to me will be safe(er).
In other news, Roger Moore achieves Knighthood. Way to go Mr. Bond. Also when it comes to the Nobel Prize Americans are on top.
There must be at least 200 shows happening in October. I can't be a scenester like Miss Modern Age. At most, I'll probably attend less than 10. I can't wait for Vicious on Oct. 22nd. Fantastic line-up!
I need to mention that Hard Glitter has a really nice re-design of her site.
