Sa-Ra Plays Tonight At Canal Room
Formed in 2000 Sa-Ra Creative Partners were brought together by music. With influences such as the love of hip hop, jazz, soul, funk and a heavy dose of Steely Dan, the trio were united in their vision to do something new, to make the kind of music they wanted to listen to. The group recently signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label through Sony and are finishing their debut album due late spring 2006. Kanye West boasted that "Sa-Ra pushes the style & musicality of the label, I might have to change the name to Great Music or Best Dressed Records."
They are making their first New York debut, playing with a full live band. Catch them tonight Canal Room.
