Lou Rawls | A life (1935-2006)
Lou Rawls has passed away at the age of 72 after suffering for months with lung and brain cancer. Rawls released more than 70 albums during his lifetime. He had his biggest hit in 1976 with "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine." In 1958, Rawls was involved in a serous car crash. He stayed in a coma for 5 1/2 days. It took him months to regain his memory and a year to fully recuperate. Rawls considered the event life-changing. Rawls also appeared in 18 movies, including "Leaving Las Vegas" and "Blues Brothers 2000," and 16 television series, including "Fantasy Island" and "The Fall Guy."
