Hot 97 in the News Again
Last night while 50 cent was being interviewed live on Hot 97 by Funkmaster Flex for his upcoming album, The Massacre, a member of his entourage was shot outside the studios of the radio station in the west village. 50 cent made and unexpected announcement that he was kicking out his protégé, The Game, from his G-Unit crew for being disloyal. 50 Cent went on to say that he contributed about half the songs appearing on The Game's current album. The victim, who was shot in the left leg, was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital. No arrests have been made.
Meanwhile Lil' Kim's jurors received strict instructions yesterday not to buy any of the raunchy rapper's CDs - or listen to HOT 97 during her perjury trial. Allegedly lied in 2003 when she said her ex-manager, Damion Butler was not at HOT 97 the day of the shooting and denied knowing Suif Jackson.
