How To Be Late AT A Show and Still Have Fun
A few days away from your PC could mean missing out on an writer's suicide, an heiresses sidekick II being hacked, an actors death and finding out that Hillary Duff was at the same events you went to after the fact.
On Saturday, there was a show at Luna Lounge with Morning Theft and Death of Fashion. Then a housewarming party. Sunday found us scurrying in Carroll Gardens and the Lower East Side for a party. There there was a screening first then the Motherf*cker party. Having arrived fashionably late we missed Bloc Party's set. Everyone we ran into said how amazing they were. Well they will play again in April. Hopefully Aeki Tuesday will get there when the doors open. Bloc Party pic can be seen here, here and here. One Louder has a link for a live Bloc Party performance on a French radio station Studio 105 on February 7. The rest of the night was filled with dancing.
There was a Say Hi To Your Mom show at the Mercury Lounge. We stayed long enough to hear a few songs from Snowglobe. Scenestars posted about them earlier this month where they have two mp3s. Snowglobe are currently on tour now and you can catch them tonight at Siberia and tomorrow at Maxwell's. Buy their album here.
