The Liver Says "Thank You!"

Last night we attended the Gothamist sponsored show at the Knitting Factory which was great. They had a large turnout so Aeki Tuesday hopes this will happen again in the near future. The only band we missed was The Fresh but the others were excellent. Especially seeing The Sons of Sound, who played their last show as 'The Sons of Sound' new name/site forthcoming, and Asobi Seksu for the first time. They rocked! Snowden was good as well. The last time we seen them play was at Plaid, famously known for their bad acoustics, and weren't quite impressed but last night they blew us away. Luckily we didn't become a lush off the outrageously priced $2 Triple 8 Vodka specials.

This morning while reading The Post about the Vibe Award stabbing incident, we couldn't help but chuckle at "Dre has been a rap star since the early 1990s and has been a mentor to 38-year-old Eminem." According to the Post, Eminem aged 6 years. Hahaha! Young Buck may be laughing to wherever he's hiding.
