Wicked Wisdom

Janet plans to perform "live" on Good Morning America on March 31st. Her portion of the show will air on a five-second video and audio delay and ABC's trigger finger she'll be lucky if she can get her booty to shake on screen but you can head down to Battery Park on the 31st to check out the action. In addition to the ABC performance, Jackson will also be appearing as both the host and the musical guest on Saturday Night Live Apr. 12.

NME reports that Indie Labels Threaten To Boycott MTV (Europe).
THE WHITE STRIPES, PRODIGY, CRAIG DAVID and BASEMENT JAXX are among a huge number of artists set to boycott MTV in Europe in an escalating row over how much money the music channel pays to broadcast videos.

MTV Networks Europe has set a deadline of March 31 for independent record labels representing artists to agree to a new rights contract worth less than half of the previous deal, reports The Guardian. If agreement isn’t reached, the music channel could lose access to around 20 per cent of releases.
