Going To The Chapel

Beyonce's just about out did herself at the 2004 NBA All-Star Game this weekend performing 'Crazy In Love'. Talk about an entrance of all entrances, Yonce came down straddling a giant disco ball. Jay-Z is somewhere smiling and saying "Yes!" I'm sure he is getting the marriage license as I type this out.
"Apart from this woman beside me (Beyonce), who I love and who I will marry very soon."
Loon, who probably isn't planning on a marriage anytime soon, and two other men were arrested and charged with attempted murder after an altercation outside the House of Blues in Los Angeles early Friday morning. The men were held on $1 million bail after allegedly stabbing a security guard who refused them entry into a party for Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz. (link via MTV News)

Did not know this but EMI Records has issued a cease-and-desist order against British beatmaker DJ Danger Mouse for unauthorized use of material by the Beatles. He told Allhiphop.com during an interview "It's illegal. I know that and it may get me in trouble, but if I had thought about that I would have never made what I thought turned out to be one of the best things I ever did." Whoever has a copy of this and is willing to burn us one, send us mail sil vous plait. (link via Filter-Mag)
Tonight, thanks to the folks at Flavorpill, we will be seeing Cat Power for the first time ever and dragging Bryan with us.
Over at Kitty Power, Candice recollects on a strange phone call she received from none other than the self-proclaimed "first Supermodel" Janice Dickinson.
Also, a very special congrats to Scott Stereogum for his recent engagement.
