Alert yourself

This just in: NY Times just reported that the Record Industry May Not Subpeona Online Providers. A big win for Verizon, it will not be forced to comply with providing subscribers' information to the R.I.A.A. Meanwhile, The R.I.A.A. vows to continue their efforts "Regardless of this decision, we will continue to defend our rights online on behalf of artits, songwriters and countless others (corrected cause NYTimes had "otehrs") involved in bringing music to the public." Eh -- SLSK 4 EVA!!

Tonight, we will rock out at Northsix, seeing Secret Machines & TVoR. See you there!

Also, Complacent.org is having a throwdown somewhere in the city tonight. Look below for more info from their mailing list.

Complacent (GREEN) Party!
Friday, December 19th
(212) 252-5508

Here we wear green, trade gifts for the sake of celebration,
manifest music and bring our own bliss (discreetly).

For location and details, call after 6pm on the day of.
Expect to begin way-downtown long after sunset... Expect
to bring and trade gifts, drink something stiff and see parts
of NYC you never expected. To participate in the Boombox
Cacophony Project bring a portable stereo, or bring any other
type of music maker, bring friends, bring lovers, bring your
madness and inspiration... Here, we are living out loud, wicked,
reckless, and fu.cking fe.arless.

(212) 252-5508
http://www.complacent.org/green

Hint: bring mistletoe, eggnog with warm rum, friends and the fearless,
misadventure and music makers, green decorations and a thick
throaty wide open and wanting lust-for-life.

(disOrganized by dozens of unaffiliated miscreants... owned by no-one.)

Ready for anything?

Almost forgot. Bryan is playing tonight as part of THE EXPLODING MOTIVES SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA at The Tank. Go see him perform!
