Christmas Day 2002
Early this morning, it started to snow just a little, it later turned to rain and now it is snowing again. Christmas time is by far the most depressing season for me. All those songs about happy times makes me want to curl up in a ball and weep. Every time I here I'll Be Home For Christmas tears can't help but fall down my face. Why? I am not too sure. I am always with my family at this time of year. I have this longing for something but I don't know what yet. I am not sure if I'll ever know.
Yesterday, my job gave a little party. We exchanged gifts and ate. Someone won an 27" television and $100 dollars. Yipee! I almost won $10,000 in an NJ Lottery scratch-off game. All in all it was good time spent. My friend from work bought me Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Complete Second Season DVD set. I'm very excited about that! There was one bad experience that day at work which involved a co-worker. He got me sooo upset that I wanted to physically hurt him. I will deal with that on Thursday when I go back to work.
Christmas Eve at my house was a little boring. My mother's birthday is on the 24th and usually she is in better spirits but she wasn't. This year there was no parties thrown for her and her boyfriend was a no show until much later. We all slept till 12 am or so and opened presents. We were all satisfied with what we received. My mother was especially pleased with the JVC DVD Video Player and the I am Sam DVD that I bought her. We ate a little and then went to bed. My sister and I promised my four cousins that we will take them to see Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers this coming Sunday..that should be some event.
