08 December 2002

.: I am a Believer

I too was taken by Taken. I saw the commercials but I didn't plan on watching the mini-series. So on Friday night I was channel surfing and stopped on the SciFi channel. What I was watching was Episode 5 - "Maintenance" thinking it was the first episode. I got hooked and then got bummed because I found out later that 8 episodes had already aired. Luckily there was going to be a marathon of Taken on Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 am. I made sure to set my alarm clock just in case I overslept. The better part of my Saturday was spent enjoying the mini-series. I got caught up in the whole thing. I don't even mind Dakota Fanning being in the show. This little girl, who played Sean Penn's daughter in I Am Sam, reminds me of Haley Joel Osment. Not in appearance but in acting capabilities. It's just freaking scary.

I decided to see what my horoscope will be for the upcoming year and it goes like this:

In 2003: Virgo

April is the coolest month to spend with a person you like. The days will start to grow longer as your affection grows. Plan ahead for 2003, as the final months of 2002 will create too much chaos in your family and friends to really be able to find love. The Springtime, though, will renew all of your hopes and confidence. Virgo is one sign that can pay attention to the details, so set up your calendar now to be open for new experiences and dating by late March. (link)

One needs to have confidence in "The Springtime" because how else will one become the future Mrs. Chris Martin.

Diva Week
I realized that I never posted about the Whitney Houston interview by Diane Sawyer last Wednesday. The highlights of that interview is "Crack is whack." Oh lordie! I believe that Whitney was truly high as she said those words to Diane Sawyer. Also Whitney goes on to say the she has done her share of drugs such as cocaine but when Sawyer asked the question to Bobby Brown he said he never used it and he is Bipolar. I guess Whitney wasn't sharing her stash with Bobby. I don't even want to get started on the interview with Mariah Carey.

As always, comments are welcomed and encouraged.
