.: NYC Transit Strike
Okay, so I am going to add my $ 0.02 to this issue. I live in jersey and think that it is utterly stupid to have a strike now. It will not be just an inconvenient to most people but it will wreck nyc's economy and ruin the Christmas shopping season. The amount of money it will cost NYC's economy will range from about $100 to $350 million per day. NYC lost a lot of money after 9/11 and with this strike about to take place we are going to do more damage than good. How in the world are students, out-of-state commuters, or people from other boroughs suppose to commute to the city? What is this I hear about having four passengers per car during the week and two passengers during the weekend? Do you have to pick up strangers in the street in order to follow the cars entering Manhattan limitation plan? Whoever thought rush hour as being a pain in the arse will get an eyefull if this strike happens.
