The whole Matrix saga is becoming a disappointment. The first one had so much potential besides the visual effects for the "what is the matrix?" and "why are we here?" questions. Fabienne. recently bought the the Matrix: Reloaded DVD and I couldn't wait to watch it since I did not see it in the theaters when it came out. I could not even keep my eyes open during the movie. Unnecessary fillers (the dancing scene should have been cut out - ENTIRELY) and trite dialogues. Not to mention the shock at seeing Keanu's backside. That was it for me. I turned the DVD player off and went to bed. This weekend I plan on giving the movie another go and then I'll see Matrix: Revolutions in the theaters but with reviews like this I might as well wait for the DVD.
Wal-Mart is facing some tough allegations after the 21-state raid last month. American dream? Not at the least. Working seven days a week and not getting paid time-and-a-half for overtime is not an "American" dream.
CBS drops "Reagans" movie. Showtime. was more than happy to pick it up. Barbara Streisand is peeved by CBS's right wing ways. She posted a note on her site this morning stating how disappointed she is with CBS and views the whole issue as censorship nonetheless.
The folks at Microsoft is offering a $500,000 bounty for information of the authors of the MSBlast and Sobig virus. What if the writers of those virus bugs turn themselves in, do they get that money for lawyer fees? They'll sure need it.

The Elliott Smith memorial concert took place two days ago in Hollywood. Friends and fellow musicians gathered to honor Smith and his music. Some of the artists commented on how hard it was to learn most of Smith's songs. More highlights are featured on MTV News.
