Stolen Trailers And The Queen B's Reign Ends
The Decemberists' gear trailer was stolen in SE Portland yesterday. The trailer contained every instrument the Decemberists owned. This is not cool.

A message from Lil' Kim (nee Kimberly Jones) on her website stated that she has "confidence in our legal system and look forward to justice in my case." Well justice seemed to have prevailed yesterday. Though prison time might mean long hours of PR damage control but Kimberly Jones will probably be on top again a lá Martha Stewart.

The trailer in question is a WHITE 6? x 12? WELLS CARGO trailer. There’s a green ‘VT’ (as in Vermont) sticker on the side door, among other smaller stickers, a BRITISH FLAG sticker on the front, and a ‘NO ON 36? sticker on the left back door. The license number is U34 8717 (Oregon).Lil' Kim faces up to 20 years in jail for lying under oath. She will be sentenced on June 28th. The diminutive rapper lied about a shootout that occurred of the offices of Hot 97 (WQHT). The shootout left one man injured and more than a dozen rounds fired.
