The Other Brit
Well this trend of actor-turned-singer is never ending. It seems that Brittany Murphy has recorded her first studio music sessions anonymously, because she wanted to know whether she really had the talent needed to become a pop star.
Murphy booked a Los Angeles recording studio, backing singers, session musicians and an engineer under a pseudonym and then sent 'white label' copies of her hip-hop and jazz tunes to two nameless New York producers. Why all this anonymosity you ask? She wanted to "test the waters first." Part of the delay might have something to do with her last relationship was with her music manager, Jeff Kwatinetz. They split up in May after a six-month engagement. Her album is slated to be released next year. The energizer actress can be seen doing her regular job in Little Black Book.
