Extraordinary Machine
Def Jux and Virgin Megastore (NY) are teaming up to celebrate Hip-Hop culture with a series of contests and in stores performances. The celebration of Indie Hip-Hop will include a panel featuring Def Jux artists, CEO El-P and a performance by Def Jux artist Rjd2. On Wednesday July 7th, DMC will host a DJ spin-off including a collection of K-Street Records guest DJ's that will spin music from Hip-Hop's different eras. Meanwhile, Def Jux artists Aesop Rock and C-Rayz Walz and others will hit the Virgin Megastore stage. Virgin Megastores will offer discounts on CD's like Grandmaster Flash, Eric B. and Rakim, De La Soul and DVD's such as Style Wars, Juice, The Freshest Kids and 8 Mile. Read more here.
