Definitely Maybe
Hope everyone's Fourth of July was a good one. Now enough of the BBQ talk and lets get back to work. Holiday watchers should note another two months will go by until the next 3-day weekend, which falls around Aeki Tuesday's birthday. It's going to be a big party weekend!
On the news front this weekend, David Hasselhoff is making his British stage debut in the West End musical Chicago, Macy Gray aids in charity event by getting naked and Ja Rule escapes drug charges.
Franz Ferdinand news: FF will release Michael on Aug. 16th as their next single. The single will come out on 2 CDs and 7" vinyl and is to include 'Missing You', a track recorded in Germany in May of this year, live favorite 'Love And Destroy' and 'Don't Start', recorded during the band's album sessions in Malmo with Tor Johannsen. Oasis fans will get a kick out of the following. Oasis have confirmed details of their tenth anniversary reissue of Definitely Maybe The group release ‘Definitely Maybe – The DVD’ on September 6. The audio version, including rare vinyl only track ‘Sad Song’, is accompanied by four hours worth of archive and new footage. The performance footage will feature material recorded at ’Top Of The Pops’ and the Glastonbury.

Also included is an hour-long documentary about the recording of the album featuring interviews with the band, label and friends.
The DVD will also feature the promo videos for ‘Supersonic’, ‘Shakermaker’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Star’ and ‘Cigarettes And Alcohol’ as well as the US videos for ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Supersonic’. (link via NME)
