Not Bitter

For those of you who braved 100 degree weather to attend Coachella and got to see Radiohead, The Pixies, The Cure, Kraftwerk and a slew of others who we will not mention, we say amen to you. Were you part of the 50,000 plus fans that turned out to see Radiohead perform rarities such as "Creep," "Paranoid Android," "My Iron Lung," and "Planet Telex?" Did you cry to your neighbor when The Pixies came on to the stage? Did you sing along to "Here Comes Your Man"? Did you rub elbows with the likes of Nick Zinner, Jack Black, Alicia Silverstone, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, Neve Campbell and Rosanna Arquette? Again we say Amen. We are definitely NOT bitter. Okay, maybe we are a wee bit resentful. Good grief, Daily Refill repots that Jessica Blueprint stood next to Adam Brody?!

Moving along....

Beside Coachella there were other events this weekend such as the Kentucky Derby. Lil Kim was forced to cancel her appearance at the famed Kentucky Derby over the weekend, because New York prosecutors refused to grant her permission to leave the state. According to reports, the rapper was scheduled to attend various events and her cancellations cost promoters thousands of dollars. (link Allhiphop.com)

Lindsay Lohan's 'Mean Girls' topped the box office this weekend. (link Excite).

Courtney Love says No To Drugs actually she just pleads not guilty to drug charges. She is charged with two felony counts of possession of controlled substances - the painkillers hydrocodone and oxycodone. She could face up to three years and eight months in prison if convicted. (link Billboard )

This weekend found us at Plaid catching Snowden's set sans Keyboardist. We ran into The Real Janelle & Jen (Daily Refill). We took pictures and will post that here. We've seen a few performances at Plaid before and were always irritated by the poor acoustics. Aeki Tuesday shan't be going back there for live performances again. On Sunday, there was a Found Magazine party to attend. Candice came along and The Queen of Hearts set sail around 6:20 pm. The Found gathering was enjoyable and no one fell overboard.
