More Music News Than You Can Stomach
According to Punknews.org, The Faint have announced the name of their new album, and it is called Wet From Birth. It is the follow-up to 2001's Danse Macabre. Saddle Creek Records will be releasing the set on September 14th.
New Nick Drake single to be released on May 17th in the UK. Also a new compilation of Made To Love Magic will be released on May 24th. This is a compilation of new mixes, previously unreleased versions and 'Toe The Line', a previously undiscovered song from his last session in 1974 before his death. If you didn't know already, we love all things Nick Drake. We can't wait to get this album.

Rakim is cleared of charges. Rakim was arrested earlier this week in front of Roseland before his show with Ghostface. He was charged for being delinquent in his child-support payments.
More court news, Allhiphop.com reports that C. DeLores Tucker lost another libel lawsuit yesterday (April 28) after claming two newspapers had falsely reported on her dispute with the estate of Tupac Shakur. Tucker sued Shakur's estate over the song "How Do You Want It," in which Shakur rhymed Tucker's last name and called her a "motherf*cker." The 1997 lawsuit claimed that the aftermath of that line resulted in loss of "consortium."
KRS-ONE is organizing a Hip-Hop Cultural Conference to be delivered at NASA's headquarters in Washington, D.C., on May 19th. The plan includes brining 100 students from the D.C. area ? possibly ranging from elementary- to college-age ? to hear members of the hip-hop community, social activists, spiritual leaders and NASA scientists promote the powers of math and science.
