Beck, Donnie, Riley & Doom Oh My!
We shook our mighty fists in the air when we heard about the marriage between Beck & Ribisi. For those who care here's the latest on the their marriage:
The couple, an item for the past year, swapped vows in front of family and friends. According to Us Weekly, the nuptials went down at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California--site of the recent marriages of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin (on Dec. 4) and Charmed's Holly Marie Combs and David Donoho (on Valentine's Day) and proposed location of the postponed Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez wedding. (Like Ribisi, both Paltrow and Combs were preggers when they got hitched, making San Ysidro Ranch the go-to spot of choice for shotgun celebrity weddings.)
Ribisi was in the audience earlier this month for Beck's set at a benefit concert at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, joining with the couple's fellow Scientology pals Juliette Lewis, Danny Masteron and Erica Christensen.
The newlyweds honeymoon won't last long. Beck is due to head back into the studio, and the just-about-bursting Ribisi is expecting the couple's first child in May. (link E Online)

BBC repots that Donnie Darko returns to US cinemas this summer. The new cinema release will be the director's cut, with 21 minutes of unseen footage.
The following news is so exciting!! Rilo Kiley will release their new record, More Adventurous, in late July. We must have missed this but it was announced that the group would be leaving Saddle Creek because of limitations involved with being "signed" (there were never a real contract) to low-budget indie label. There were speculations that RK would sign with EMI, but those rumors turned out to be false. We thought Saddle Creek was been good to RK. Almost every interview we've read, they always acknowledge the good relationship they had with Saddle Creek. When did things go sour?? Sometimes major labels equals death. Let's hope not. We are quite fond of Rilo Kiley and especially fond of Jenny Lewis.
Latest news from Stones Throw
DOOM has just been added to the lineup for this year's Coachella Festival, Indio, CA, on Day 1, Sat. May 1st. He is headlining the 2nd/outdoor stage.
We are not fortunate to go to Coachella but if by some chance a pair of tickets, $2500 spending money and room keys were to land on our doorstep, we'd consider joining the The Naked Cowboy in a duet in middle of Times Square.
