Apples & Oranges

We sat through 2 hours and 45 minutes of Troy. What we got out of it is that Brad Pitt & Eric Brana looks good in a skirt and that Orlando Bloom can't really act. This movie tried so hard to distract the female and some male audience members with butt shots of Brad Pitt hoping we'll forget that movie sucked. Yes, we said it. It sucked. David Benioff could have done a little better with the screenplay.


In other news, Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin had their new baby girl last week named Apple Blythe Alison Martin. "We are 900 miles over the moon, and we'd like to thank everyone at the hospital who have looked after us amazingly," Martin said in a statement released by spokesman Murray Chalmers. Our office pool says that Paltrow & Martin will name their child Orange or Lima Beans. (link)


Remember Tatu? Remember all those talks about them being lesbians? Well Julia Volkova has quashed lesbian rumours involving her and co-singer Lena Katina's once and for all - she's expecting her first child with her long-term boyfriend. The singer, 19, is preparing to give birth to her first child with karate champion PASHA SIDOROV - who already has a wife and daughter. Volkova says, "Obviously we won't be celebrating a wedding." Christian rock star, Rebecca St. James, feels a bit sad for Britney Spears because she gave it up before marriage. "I also feel sad for the nine or 10-years-old watching her who see her dressing in a very promiscuous fashion, almost asking for people to treat her as a sex object. They are going to start dressing that way too." Can't argue with that but we're sure Justin didn't have any complaints.
