Happy Nuptuals: Jack White Marriage Shocker!

First Renee married a country singer now Jack White one ups her and marries flamed haired Karen Elson. Speaking of Renee, we attended a screening of Ron Howard's Cinderella Man a few days ago. Russell Crowe and Ron Howard seems to be the favorite for an Oscar nod and win while Zelleweger's performance caused us to grimace every time she appeared on the screen. Maybe Renee should stop the Cold Mountain method acting. It's boring. Maybe the above tidbit wasn't as shocking as these pictures of Tom Cruise.

Audio Fiction is in Page Six yet again. We caught their show earlier this week at CBGS where Anna Sui was seen rocking out to the band who was joined by Metropolitan Opera violinist Katherine Fong. AF's next show will be on June 10th at Sin-e.

Sondre Lerche plays at Soundfix Records in Williamsburg this Saturday at 4pm. Remember there will be no L Train service this weekend. There will be shuttle bus service to replace subway service or you can take the G to Metropolitan. The above picture was taken in October 2004 at his Southpaw performance. Read the review here.

Melody Nelson returns to guest DJ at TISWAS this Saturday. Performances by A Place to Bury Strangers (10pm) + Saints and Lovers (11pm). Also Andy Rourke of The Smiths will be guest DJ-ing along with Melody Nelson and host/resident DJ Nick Marc!
