But honey I gave you my heart
Last night's wind and rain combo was not a good thing. At least my umbrella didn't give up on me. What a trooper! I went to the infamous Plaid yesterday. Horror stories ringing in my head was immediately smashed when I walked up to the door. I only had to wait a little bit for the private party to vacate before entering. I ran into Cameron who was also there for some Mommy and Daddy action. The Rocks were the first band to go on. The songs were not tired or overdrawn. Mommy was rocking out playing bass and the frontman leapt to and fro whilst vocalizing (screaming rather) each song. The next band, Early Man, an all girl band feigning 80's chic, started out with a bang but by the fourth song I was left with a mild headache. They have fantastic energy and although I was impressed by the guitarist riffs, I'm not really into 80's metal. The last band that I got to see was Mommy and Daddy. Besides having some difficulties with sound and stopping a song short, they rocked my body hard.
Eep! I spoke too soon. CBS Drops Jackson Show From It's Schedule. Personal life problems aside Michael Jackson is still a great musician in my book.
Rolling Stone lists the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. I better get started on my Top 20 List.
