Cancer Benefit Concert Tonight

Our friend Rob Holmes let us know about a special event taking place at the Shanghai Rock Hotel tonight.

Kia Nowotne was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the second time. Hours missed at work during the early stages of her treatment led to the loss of her job, compromising the status of her health insurance, and leaving Kia unable to support herself for the duration of her treatment. The music community was outraged and wished to come to the aid of their friend.

This event will bring together some of the most celebrated members of the independent music community to raise awareness and generate funds. Primary sponsors are www.jenyk.com, www.love-sexy.com, and Death by Audio effects pedals.
