The Futureheads Private Show | Longwave & Sam Champion Tours
Yesterday at Pianos, The Futureheads played a private show. We arrived there a little after 6:20PM only to be told that they had reached full capacity and blah blah blah. We did manage to get in but the band had already started playing. There was no way we could have made it up to the stage. They played very well to the eager crowd. The highlight of their acoustic show was when they sang "Piece of Crap." The setlist is available on All The Young Mod Soldiers. Modernage and Jeff Central Village has some visuals of the night. The first single to Longwave's forth-coming album, There's A Fire, is available now. That album will be released on June 28th. Longwave will be playing an Virgin-Union SQ live In-store on June 28th. Stream the title track WMA | Real

Sam Champion is a quartet out of NY. Their name comes from the popular in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area weatherman (our days are not fulfilled with out Sammie C's forecast). Sam Champion, the band, makes good pop music.
