Karaoke, daBips, Grace EP, Cobain, Volunteering, and where to go at 4 a.m.

Karaoke Pics

09.07.02

Me (in jeans) and Fabienne (skirt)

We are doing Jumpin' Jumpin' by Destiny's Child (I was really feeling the song as you can see from my Mariah Carey impression.)

da BIPS

10.07.02

Galinsky (31 jersey) wants you to be there at the next show.

Matthew Courtney - Why is he holding a globe? It is part of the daBips poetry show where members would choose from 5 items and make up a poem it. Matthew was particularly funny with his globe poem.

Mataji Roberts...a little excited.

Readables updated.

Monthly mix now up! Yeah, they know it's late.

NEW JB Grace Ep Boxset!!

OMG, Like I care!

Kurt Cobain Writes About Himself

Teen Agnst in a nice DVD package.

Offerings from David Gray : http://www.anewdayatmidnight.com

His name is Moonshine!

I attended Pablo's Party last month but only stayed for 1 hour. The gallery opening on Franklin Street was interesting. There were some really nice works there but unfortunately I didn't see them all. Fabienne said she had a great time! Images of the gallery opening on 10.25.02 are now available at popportraits.com or here.

Volunteering
I am really thinking about volunteering this holiday season. I have said it in the past but things got in the way. I have been looking at these places for volunteer opportunities:

breadandlife.org
baileyhouse.org
cityharvest.org

If you have any suggestions on where I can volunteer in either the NY area or Jersey, send me a line

Where to go at 4 a.m. if you are:

a) drunk
b) need to unwind before heading home
c) very drunk
d) have a craving for borscht

Try Veselka (144 Second Ave at 9th st. -- 24 Hrs). This Ukranian place offers you lots of Borscht even at the early hours. The staff is friendly and attentive. What more would you want?

It's late. Off to bed I go.
