["A fourth rate Bono..."]
I have known about Oxfam International and Make Trade Fair for some time now but haven't posted anything about it. So here it goes.
Chris Martin, Coldplay, has taken a part of this to spread the word of trading. Chris visited Haiti earlier this year to find out more about coffee trading and how it is affecting smaller countries.

Colin Firth has also joined up in adding his voice in Oxfam's coffee campaign.

- Spoon will play at Northsix on 11.05.02 (late show - 10 p.m.) w/ The Fiery Furnaces.
- It looks like The Butchies will perform at Northsix also:
11.15.02 - The Butchies w/ Wau Wau Sisters & Trixie Delicious (8 p.m. )
Note: After watching a show by The Wau Wau Sisters, I can't help but be amused by their quirky songs and acrobatic antics.

From Pitchforkmedia.com:
Atmospheric art-rock sensations Interpol are currently on tour in Europe through the middle of next month, including four French dates with Jade Tree's coed cacophonists Girls Against Boys. Right about the same time the tour is winding down (November 11th), Matador Europe will be releasing "Obstacle 1" as a single. The final tracklist has yet to be confirmed by the label, but the UK release will be available both on CD and seven-inch and include live in-studio versions of album tracks recorded at the band's 2001 Peel session, according to French fansite TheInterpol.com. Tentative tracklist:
CD format:
01 Obstacle 1
02 PDA [KCRW session July 2002]
03 Hands Away [Peel session May 2001]
Seven-inch format:
01 Obstacle 1
02 Obstacle 2 [Peel session May 2001]

Does anybody know how to win this? Should I give up? I have NEVER won!!!
I am glad a lot of you had a good laugh but I cannot take credit for this. When it was sent to me I found it to be very amusing (if not wicked) so I posted it. I am not sure who the original author is. If anyone does please email me.
