Scientologist Releases Stress Levels
We are at Times Square every day and never noticed the red-clothed Scientology tables. Who new that volunteers from The Church of Scientology have been stationed at Times Square for six months "measuring the baseline stress levels in the brains of all passers-by willing to sit still for a minute and hold the metal bars." Unfortunately, a few of the Scientology folks received $50 summonses since it was determined that the books were being sold, not given in exchange for donations, in violation of New York City Transit rules against unlicensed vending. Oops. Many people go through periods of stress. It's a very common thing. We're not inclined to go through the Scientology route as the two people Andy Newman interviewed for that article. We'd rather enjoy a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy ice cream.
This gives us perfect opportunity to segue to Beck. The famous Scientologist has released his album Guero today. Not last week pointed by Central Village when his local Starbucks displayed early issues of Guerro by their counter. Catch the new flash video of Gameboy/Homeboy here. The E-Pro video can be seen here. On his Emporium site, Beck offers the Guero-Deluxe Edition Pre-sale, which includes exclusive bonus tracks, a DVD and a 52-page booklet of art and photos compiled by Beck.
